CONgressional Mismanagement Followed by Failures
Lacking anything good to say about CONgress other than I've predicted failures. There have occurred and America will experience repeated
future failures. I have inserted below a list of quotes about Committees for any reader's enjoyment. CONgressional failures will cause dire (fake) emergencies
that will enable CONgress with their current presidential puppet to create more agencies that generate more regulations that ratchet-up their control of
America. Republicans NEVER intended to repeal Obamacare as promised, NEVER intended to cut the size of government. They just lie to get elected, then they
do whatever it takes to enhance their own lives in DC. Forget about America! Forget about constituents! Forget about promises! Forget about sanity!
By doing nothing but passing laws that further restrict liberty and the freedom to do anything without some barrier, the CONgress has created an oligarchy of a few powerful,
wealthy rulers along with Obama's Deep State who prevent change and the spark of optimism the free people feel when the noose of tyranny around their neck is loosened.
Until this CONgress consisting of NEVER TRUMP Republicans, RINOs (new democrats), and Democrats (Socialists) is voted out at least three events will never happen:
Spending will NEVER decrease to levels below tax inflows by eliminating and repealing agencies and permanently laying-off employees and,
Income taxes will NEVER be reduced such that all working Americans realize a large enough windfall that they can begin saving for their future without thinking about
contacting a tax accountant for their annual, punishing tribute to the king and,
The Senate will NEVER be a meaningful, productive body again.
WE the PEOPLE can force the feds to represent us!
PREDICTION: This Republican CONgress will LOSE its majority in both Houses, but President Trump will be reelected for a second term because of his honest and forthright
attempts to motivate CONgress. So far, CONgress has BLATANTLY FAILED to fulfill their promises, and unless American voters (authenticated, identified citizens of states) can vote REAL, conservative
Republicans or Constitutionalists into office the CONgress will lose to Democrats who are the very definition of socialists.
FAILURE to repeal Obamacare 100% as promised, and the version that just failed—'OBAMACARE Lite' is the 2nd step toward nationalized
healthcare that has failed worldwide—comprises more losing government. The 'Freedom Caucus' was absolutely CORRECT!
The Wisconsin 'Tongue in Cheek'. Surely you didn't think
this CONgress would be any different than the last 100 years. Typical! While the economy tanks and there is no longer ANY available
market with choices for health insurance, CONgress discusses ways to continue the last 8 years of healthcare theft. Government can't
'central plan' a
market that works as well as a FREE MARKET where people have many choices and make their own decisions about what to buy!
To repeal Obamacare 100% as promised, government should eliminate regs, eliminate taxes, and engender a foundation for a flourishing FREE MARKET!

ACA repeal #2 is loved by Democrats and HATED by the Freedom Caucus because the BILL is NOT a 100% repeal of the CONgress'
socialized medicine. When will CONgress represent their constituents?
Prediction #1, i.e., FAILURE is highly probable as of TODAY since the Senate will keep the Obamacare structure.
FAILURE to pass a fiscally restraining budget that leads to a balanced budget and pays for their remaining promises.

It remains to be realized whether CONgress will finally eliminate all of the wasteful, fraudulent, duplicative spending from the Budget.
For the inevitable Convention of States, authorized by Article V of the Constitution, I would propose a simple, multi-clause amendment,
the 28th, with title: THE LIMITS AMENDMENT.
This amendment would LIMIT the Terms of Congress and the federal Judiciary to 12 years and 20 years respectively. The Amendment would LIMIT the Terms of ALL federal
employees to 20 years.
The best method to correct the budget problem, to balance expenditures with revenues is to
permanently lay off 50% of federal employees beginning with all employees labeled 'nonessential'. CONgress can enhance existing job search organizations to place
these terminated employees in a new job. The new job, however, will change focus from doing nothing to working very hard to make a profit. The American
Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) should be banned from government even though their membership is voluntary.
The Amendment would LIMIT tax increases to electronic approval by at least 34 States. It would prevent Debt Ceiling increases except in an "Emergency" to be
defined and written explicity.
The Amendment would REQUIRE that ALL agencies forfeit annual surpluses and be subject to annual audits preventing the August-September spending spree.
The Amendment would LIMIT Agency's budget allocation increases to a detailed cost justification showing the need for their employee head count.
The Amendment would reinstate the Gold Standard reflecting today's value and without the Bretton-Woods Agreement and the international exchange of USD for
gold. The Federal Reserve's proclivity for financing the spendthrift feds will only be needed during a 'declared war' to create 'money-from-thin-air'.
Finally, it would require a BALANCED BUDGET except in times of dire "Emergency" to be defined above.
The above prediction regarding a frugal budget is CONFIRMED as of TODAY since the only time it has ever been frugal is during Coolidge's presidency (2 Aug 1923 � 4 Mar 1929).
The CONgress are just more of the same lies to get elected. Trump has performed very well so far, rescinding many onerous regulations, presenting the OMB's Budget to CONgress for
consideration (CONgress passed a ridiculously BLOATED budget instead of Trump's suggestion), and organized the Executive Branch better than before, however, there have been NO LAYOFFS
or PROSECUTIONS of negligent, criminal employees in the VA and IRS. Pruitt is doing a fantastic job with the EPA.
A new Congress has been seated, and it brings the prospect of perhaps, maybe, potentially, in a possible way doing something about the runaway federal deficits. And in other news, several New York area bridges are for sale, which you can acquire at a bargain price.

FAILURE to reform taxes and cut corporate taxes to 15% enabling America to COMPETE worldwide [notwithstanding my preference for the repeal of the 16th Amendment eliminating income tax].
Good Luck. CONgress doesn't want to cut revenues,
but they're between a rock-and-hard-place. Debt is at $20T and rising, so Trump can't float more treasuries and the FED already almost $5T.
And CONgress can't raise taxes without being voted-out in 2 years. So, they won't cut and they'll legislate more hidden taxes to further stick it to Americans.
The Secretary of the Treasury (a needed Department) has presented a Tax Cut Plan that is revenue neutral and enables companies to repatriate
profits to the USA, however, those foreign funds are needed in foreign operations for increasing worldwide localized production and sales. Why
should companies transfer $2-3T back to the US? They might transfer $1T, but EVERY taxpayer is waiting for the DETAIL. CONgress inevitably
will screw everyone in favor of funding themselves.
CONgress did pass tax cuts, so my FAILURE prediction is not quite right.
The "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017" passed both Houses of CONgress on 12/19-20/17. The law purports not take an average of $1,700 of annual wages from
the average, middle class citizen of the US. WOW! What a massive, bigly windfall! American business, i.e., LC, LLC, INC, and proprietorships will pay 21%
not 15% as promised. This is a reduction from percentages as high as 45%. It remains to be seen if business will boom, INCs will repatriate foreign dollars,
and companies will invest in new plant and equipment.
FAILURE to build the Wall on the US' very porous southern border that has allowed the import of 12 million illegal aliens,
.5% of whom are violent criminals. NOTHING will happen with immigration laws or regulations.
It's NOT just CONgress at fault in this past and current immigration failure.
During the Obama administration, Homeland Security was
transporting busloads
of illegals into American cities and releasing them to go wherever! Before the 'busing program' Homeland was
housing the new imports
in newly constructed, vacant buildings administered by Homeland. Democrats know that indigent people have a tendency to lean toward Socialist politics thereby
creating eventual Democrat voters if they can get enough false IDs ready in time.
Today in 2017, States and Cities throughout the country either support the
federal government's efforts to (finally) enforce immigration laws or they—with Democrat Party, Socialist behavior—defy the feds
renewed efforts to REQUIRE immigrants to enter the USA legally.
New York's
AG, for example, has officially presented his State's legal framework for NY's Cities and Localities to provide a sanctuary for illegal alien criminals.
The Mexican government opposes the Wall because it might limit Drug Cartel exports of
illicit drugs to the US. Mexican government officials (including the President) bank regular kickbacks to minimize law enforcement against the Cartel(s), and
the Wall could lower drug profits and increase violence in northern Mexico.
As of 5/1/17, the WALL will not be funded until after 9/30/17. Mr. 'Tongue-in-Cheek's Bill got $750M for upgrading and fortifying the
existing, partial Wall. Of course, the feds are over-extended with $20T in debt and annual deficits, which could be balanced if
they stopped funding A LOT OF REALLY STUPID, WASTEFUL programs and grants!

FAILURE to get Mexico to PAY for the Wall that won't get built. The proposed Border tax will just increase prices of the imported products.

Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross,
is trying to capture
import duties already owed
the US. US Ports are inundated with imports to the US. Foreign importers owe Duties to the US that have gone
uncollected. It seems only fair that the US should increase Duties and expand inspections, especially of agricutural products. For example, Japan taxes US rice
imports that increases US rice prices in Japan by 450% which assures no competition against domestic Japanese rice prices. However, increasing tariffs for ANY reason will merely
increase the price of imported goods. Some imported goods are raw materials for producing finished products in the U.S. Too many new tariffs could start an 'isolationist depression'.
U.S. producers MUST adapt to changes in markets worldwide to compete. ALL TARIFFS should be eliminated in any new bilateral agreements with foreign countries.
Approximately 60% of each foreign country's trade SURPLUS with the U.S. can be attributed to
financial investments of cash that cannot be put to work in their country for various reasons mostly caused by their own government. Financial markets in the US—
Stocks, Bonds, and Real Estate—are less corrupt and more transparent than many foreign markets or the foreign country may not even have viable financial
investment markets to put excess cash or profits to work. Foreigners don't worry as much about nationalization or confiscation of their money in America.
U.S. government interferences and infringements, i.e., taxes, tariffs, and ridiculous regulations, prevent U.S.
businesses from competing in the world.

FAILURE to repair/rebuild America's infrastructure. There are no 'shovel-ready jobs' and $1T for this plan will merely end up in the wrong pockets.

FAILURE by the weakass Senate majority leader who will allow the Gorsuch confirmation to fail.
The above prediction was shown to be WRONG! Gorsuch was confirmed after
Republican's used the so-called 'Nuclear Option' enabling a simple majority vote. The current Majority Leader, Senator McConnell, very calmly and firmly
directed the Senate through the Confirmation of now Associate Justice Gorsuch. The former Senate Majority Leader, Harry Rude from Nevada, made the
'Nuclear Option' a possibility in 2013. The Founders of the Constitution in 1787 expected all future legislation and confirmations to pass or fail by SIMPLE
MAJORITY. CONgress changed their own rules about 50 years ago to require a 60 vote margin for some legislation and confirmations.
The only analysis and evaluation required for a 'yea' vote is whether
legislation is good for the country and its economy. For Confirmation, Senators should ascertain whether the Judge is qualified and intends to strictly interpret
the Constitution using the Constitution, Federalist Papers, and all documents of the time. FREEDOM and LIBERTY should be the continuing goal of our
'Representatives' and Courts.
FAILURE to maintain majorities in both Houses.

and, finally, general FAILURE of the economy with all manufacturing companies moving off-shore to build factories or
own a controlling interest in existing off-shore factories. More products will be imported without failure because manufacturers aren't governed by failing
committees, just meetings and committees that solve problems and increase profits.

Joseph Story (1779�1845) was born during the American Revolution, and came of age in the early years of the new United States of America. He was a scholar of the U.S. Constitution, and, eventually helped found the Harvard Law School.
In 1811, Story was appointed to the Supreme Court by President James Madison � who knew a few things about the U.S. Constitution, in that he helped write it. Story was a contemporary of another famous member of the Supreme Court, Chief Justice John Marshall (1755�1835).

Most "citizens" will forget about these infringements from our unaccountable, uncontrollable Executive branch with its tyrannical agencies staffed by socialist unions that extort "juicy" contracts from the "elected" dictatorship.
Most positions in the federal government whether elected, appointed, or hired are nominal, make-work jobs (confidentially) designed merely to grow government, bilk money from private businesses and citizens, and eventually fully transform America into a totalitarian state. When this happens, CONgress will have destroyed the economy and the country by their negligence and counter-liberty policies, and it will be almost impossible to Restore America. [Editor's Note: a Constitutional Convention is required to reverse the damage to freedom and liberty since 1900. This Article V was ratified by the participants at America's founding Constitutional Convention as an alternate path for repairing damage to freedom and liberty, a path for the People to restore damage caused by our failed representatives in the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of a government designed to represent the wishes of We the People.
The States must "demand" a Convention and explicitly specify an agenda of:
laws to be repealed or modified,
Amendments to existing constitutional clauses that define the co-equal branches to further specify and define, and
new Amendments or statutes to be eventually ratified by States.
These Amendments should further specify and clarify the powers of the Legislature and Executive Branches. A good example is the definition of a "Bill".
A Bill should contain ONLY verbiage in regards to the topic of the future law. NO earmarks and NO unrelated sections or attacments.
Many past Bills sent to a president for signature contained unrelated but essential funding sections that rendered the Bill veto-proof when it warranted a veto.
CON-gress can override a veto if the Bill is deemed absolutely necessary by CON-gress.
If the Bill requires SPECIFICALLY related amendments, the CON-gress can "debate" (with its usual theater) and vote any new amendments.
The original text of the Constitution contains some very GENERAL clauses enabling both CON-gress and Executive branches to write laws and
regulations with their particular nuances expanding powers beyond intent. "Intent" may be gleaned from a complete understanding of
Federalist Papers.
An example of further specification and clarity for CON-gress should be a clear, very specific definition of the boundaries for the interstate Commerce Clause.
To restore freedom, liberty, and individuality - minimally these must be repealed:
Currently, even with computer-searching systems, the list of antiquated and/or obsolete statutes (and related regulations) is unwieldy.
These statutes must be invalidated unless there remains an applicable reason for retaining the law(s).
Aside from invalidating statutes, there are many regulations that are biased in favor of large enterprises (who buy support from bureaucrats)
at the expense of the competition, effectively repressing the Free Market. Any regulations not related to public safety that gives a financial advantage
to some companies over their smaller rivals must be rescinded to enable all companies with good consumer products to excel without burdensome regulations.
Additionally, the Convention should adopt for ratification at least these new Amendments or statute modifications:
clearly define and limit the role of government in regards to the term "general welfare",
Term Limits for CON-gress (12 years) including a 6 month limit on time residing in DC,
strict Prohibition of Lobbying (with a comprehensive definition of "lobbying"), and
a Balanced Budget Amendment to stop wreckless spending. During a CON-gressionally declared "war" (only after USA is attacked or attack is proven "imminent"),
deficit spending is permissible.
Restore America to its roots, i.e. Defense, State, Treasury, and Justice. Some Agencies are required like CIA and NSA, both respectively focused on defense against real foreign aggressors and not fictitious paranoid delusions of war mongers. Other agencies help where certain interstate communications are necessary. Most agencies like Agriculture, Education, DEA, IRS (eliminated with 16th Amendment) and many other listed here should be eliminated.
Restore the world Gold Standard with five contentious steps, and
Replace the IMF, World Bank, and Export-Import Bank with facilities that reflect the new Gold Standard, and
After decentralizing and economizing, if tax revenue is needed to fund all or part of the federal government, then implement the Fair Tax.
Regarding a Constitutional Convention itself, some of the available literature warns the reader about a possible "unstructured" and "mismanaged"
Convention that might propose and adopt amendments that could damage the Republic.
Possible, however, it is difficult to envisage how much more damage could done over what the L-E-J Cabal has already done.
If the Convention's agenda and rules of order strictly prohibit violation of the rules and enable a vote on unlisted Amendments AFTER all others are adopted,
then the Convention will be properly structured and managed. ]
The FairTax is a consumption tax unilaterally applied to all Americans at the same rate. For businesses, payroll taxes would no longer exist. Our exports would include a heavy tax for overseas buyers purchasing our products, while our imports would be cheaper for us to purchase. I'm not sure how this would affect GDP, as more information is necessary.
According to the FairTax website, "Under the FairTax, every person living in the United States pays a sales tax on purchases of new goods and services, excluding necessities due to the prebate." The prebate gives every legal resident household an "advance refund" at the beginning of each month so that purchases made up to the poverty level are tax-free.
So a family of four making something like $50,000/year should not have to pay taxes, thus preventing an unfair burden on low-income families. Since the FairTax eliminates both federal and payroll taxes, you get to keep your gross pay amount of each paycheck earned.
John Adams said, "Without [term limits] every man in power becomes a ravenous beast of prey". That being said, here are some of the reasons we believe our country needs Term Limits.
Term Limits can help break the cycle of corruption in Congress. Case studies show that the longer an individual stays in office, the more likely they are to stop serving the public and begin serving their own interests.
Term Limits will encourage regular citizens to run for office. Presently, there is a 94% re-election rate in the House and 83% in the Senate. Because of name recognition, and usually the advantage of money, it can be easy to stay in office. Without legitimate competition, what is the incentive for a member of Congress to serve the public? Furthermore, it is almost a lost cause for the average citizen to try to campaign against current members of Congress.
Term Limits will break the power special interest groups have in Congress.
Term Limits will force politicians to think about the impact of their legislation because they will be returning to their communities shortly to live under the laws they enacted.
Term Limits will bring diversity of people and fresh ideas to Congress.
[Editor's Note: If you want to get rich, i.e. advance from a low paying government bureaucrat job on the local or state level, THEN GET ELECTED TO THE US CONGRESS (House or Senate). Once you're elected, it's easy to steal from your campaign contributions or the Congressional budget allocated to your seat and staff. You can go on a government-funded junket with 'lavishly' paid expenses. The list of ways to steal from the government while in office is inexhaustible. There are only a few Congressmen who left Congress just wealthy instead of a multi-millionaire. Of course, there are several who arrived in Congress as multi-millionaires and don't need to steal from the government.]
